It all started with ten words

“Mommy, I want to do something to help the kids.”

Those were the words my 8-year old son said to me after we watched a television special about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, hosted by Marlo Thomas.

    The mission of St. Jude is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.
